UpworkSkore reads the job card text your browser already loaded. It sends nothing to Upwork, clicks nothing, and calls no Upwork API. If you can see it, it can score it.
What feeds the score?
Five facts from the card and job page: total spent, hire rate, payment verification, jobs posted, and Connects required. The panel shows each one, so you can audit the number.
Why is it free?
The first 10 testers trade feedback for access: use it on real jobs, report wrong scores, answer two or three short emails. That work is the payment, and the seat stays free for every future version.
What if it never helps me?
Leave whenever. Delete the extension and keep the seat. One email about what misfired helps, if you feel like sending it.
What happens after beta?
Public launch will be paid. Tester seats stay free for life with no action and no card, ever. Layout fixes still ship to testers first, usually within 48 hours.
